Angie is a gentle and loving soul who loves yoga and reading. She enjoys her role on the ANU Philanthropy team, but her favourite things are her relationships - with Banner, her bunnies, family and friends.
We met when Banner moved from Perth to Sydney. On our first date, Angie thought she was going to inspect a rental property on Banner’s behalf, but instead of being met by the estate agent, was met by Banner (bouquet in hand!). We bought clothes for Banner’s new job, before having a lovely dinner in Hornsby.
We moved into Banner's apartment in Mascot, Sydney – which was part of a complex of 500 units. We were frequent shoppers at the local Bunnings and enjoyed turning our cement square into a veggie-filled oasis. We also loved the local Indian takeaway (where Angie was known as the Palak Paneer Lady).
We moved to Canberra in 2017, when Banner went back to university. We were searching for a rental, but ended up buying our townhouse on Gumtree instead. We love the laid-back lifestyle that Canberra offers – it’s quiet, but there’s always something happening. We especially love going for walks together around our neighbourhood and are on a mission to work our way through all the local restaurants.
